An Interview with Our SuperIntern, Nicholas Gew

XIMNET’s Company Trip @ Bangkok

I am an intern at XIMNET from The One Academy, I am Nicholas Gew.

The Environment
The moment you step into XIMNET, you feel like you’re home (without a bed that is). With a well-organised pantry, it is the spot everyone starts off the day with a cup of coffee. The studio is a place for a break or personal phone calls. It is also equipped with musical instruments. You should get an idea of the company culture by now.

The People
Speak good English. This is because it helps to build one’s personal confidence. The team members are friendly and helpful. While some conversations are funny and full of jokes and when it comes to serious business, it’s the result that matters.

Hunger for knowledge. XIMNET is filled with great opportunities to learn. Be courageous and step into a new terrain. It won’t be easy but with teamwork, all things are possible.

You hear people saying “Hard Work Pays Off” in movies but at XIMNET, this is one true fact. After a month’s worth of hard work, we were invited to be in a part of the company’s unforgettable moment?—?that was the trip to Kuantan where we get to spend quality time with the whole team.

XIMNET is the best place to intern and the memories I collect are unforgettable. Yes, the learning path is bumpy but nothing worth venturing is going to be easy. My advice is to always be clear and be calm.

I do not know what my future holds but I tell myself to keep moving forward despite the fact that things are not clear to you. All you’ve got to do is to believe in yourself.
